A BRIEF HISOTRY
After the pandemic, prisons faced a significant need for support. Some teams started engaging in sports programs within prisons, but they lacked resources, training, and networking opportunities. There was a strong desire for these elements. In 2023, a group of individuals began brainstorming ideas on how to assist those involved in sports ministry in prisons or support existing prison ministries. By 2024, this group convened for an in-person meeting in Kenya to establish a plan for creating strategies and resources to empower individuals interested in or currently serving in prisons.
